Minimalista.

Você tem que acordar
Antes de ir embora,
E eu quero saber
O que você quer de mim.
Não é fácil dizer,
Mas dizemos toda hora:
Eu te amo, boa sorte
Até qu'em fim.

Amor no peito
Dos outros é brinquedo,
As paredes tremem
E começam a cair...
Jesus te ama
Mas eu nem te conheço,
Mas eu lembro
Que um dia eu conheci.

Eu te dei o meu melhor,
O pior eu guardei para mim...
Você deveria só ver
Como o meu pior é ruim.

Eu dei o que eu tinha
Mas eu não dei sorte,
O meu santo é forte,
Mas você me derrubou.
Me dê um tempo
Pra fechar mais esse corte -
Já te conto o que foi
Que me cortou.

Meu batismo em fogo
Me deu outro nome
Agora me chame
Só se precisar.
Eu vou sozinha,
Mas olha qu'eu vou longe!
Vou aonde o destino
Me bancar.

Eu te dei o meu melhor,
O pior eu guardei para mim...
Você deveria só ver
Como o meu pior é ruim.

Quem se apega só se fode

O mundo gira
Independente do que morre.
Quem se apega
Só se fode.

Frases em uma conversa com Mac:

"I'll prove everyone wrong. Including myself." (J.)

"I ain't ever killed anyone - but my prejudice is against jail, not homicide." (J.)

"motherfuckers BETTER be glad I have a conscience..or they'd be some dead motherfuckers, lemme tell ya..." (M.)

Muita coisa em inglês por aqui ultimamente, não? Já passa...

God Says Nothing Back

"Seems like the world's gone underground
Where no gods or heroes dare to go down
As teardrops from a hole in heaven come
Overhead like ravens dropping down like bombs
Through the morning's silver-frosted glow
God says nothing back but I told you so
I told you so

God bless the void of my day dreams
Head back in the snow making angel wings
As slow motion dancing lights at dawn
Sail beneath a burning yellow sun
I'm calling out from the deep ends of my bones
Time says nothing back but I told you so
I told you so

Still waters rising in my mind
Black and deep, smoke behind my eyes
Last night I could not sleep at all
I hallucinated that you were in my arms
To be in your heart I failed my own
Love says nothing back but I told you so,
I told you so

Still here reclimbing every rung
Someone saw something,someone speak up
Back over the rotted bridge I cross
Open up these graves, let these bodies talk
Buried under leaves blood red and gold
Death says nothing back but I told you so,
I told you so"

Song For The Wounded
(Para Natércia P.)

I had a thousand names on this list,
My men, dead and wounded,
Living at the shadow of your name,
Blinded by your golden basking glory.
You could say it was worth it -
But I can't.

They were just stand-ins, hun?
Just small, faceless
background figures.
Never got a part here.
People that will only be recognized
By tattoos and dental records,
Extras in a movie no one will see.
I had a thousand names on this list.

Each one,
Every single one,
Is gone.

We're grasping for air in the bowels
of this ship,
this sinking ship.
The band quitted playing.
They are all safe, bless their hearts,
They are all safe, damn their eyes.

"Load in the diseased,
Load in the old man's sheep."

We're going on a voyage.
